Who said life is just a bowl of cherries? Well, they had a point.
Working at Cherry is a lifestyle not just a job. We’re true collaborators in every sense. We work brilliantly together as well as apart. And while we’re all big characters, as a team, everyone counts but understands the bigger picture.
Under the watchful eye of our inspirational leader, founder and business owner Tamara, we’ve created extraordinary work for some of the world’s biggest, greatest brands. But we’re small enough to celebrate our many successes together.
We’re growing fast, and select only the best. We value entrepreneurial flair and tenacity. An unswerving focus on client excellence. The dynamic and focused and the fiercely confident – those who inspire and create change around them. People who love working with people, and who care about what they do as much as we do. But above all, we’re looking for chemistry. So, if you’re in possession of a get-up-and-go attitude, active imagination, sunny disposition and people-charming skills, you could be just what we need.
Apart from a buzzing, friendly, happening atmosphere, we asked our Cherries what made them feel most valued.
The first thing that came up was our Cherry Academy – a specialised in-house training and development programme. From self-learning to championing and sharing an area of expertise, to industry-led ‘Lunch and Learns,’ individual mentoring and paid for courses – we’re pioneers of our own destiny and always lead from the front.
They also cited the opportunity to work across a diverse set of clients and sectors from HSBC to Virgin, Sport England to O2 meaning they quickly built up mountains of experience.
And obviously they rated our rewards and treats we dispense along the way, such as daily free breakfasts, refreshments and fruit. A gym allowance and sports clubs to keep them in shape. Two annual lie-ins and a duvet day, and a monthly early Friday finish were big favourites. And they liked the friendly vibe of monthly team lunches, themed Friday drinks and ongoing social events.
We’re big on spontaneous rewards to recognise hard work and amazing results, and keep morale high in a demanding environment. And our colleagues like it.
