Challenge

Fab, the much loved and iconic ice-cream brand, have run Design a Fab Den campaign aimed at getting kids to express their creativity and self-expression through design for the last five years. This year they wanted to deliver the same success – but on half the marketing budget.

Our approach

Cherry developed partnerships with high profile partners in the leisure, retail/creative and media industries – Haven, Snapfish and ParentDish – increasing the overall reach of the campaign, delivering rewards for taking part and positioning Fab as a fun, family brand.

Results

  • The campaign is still going strong but so far has reached over 1.4m additional people through partners
  • Engaged with over 27,500 fans through social media
  • Generated 299 Design a Fab Den competition entries
  • Added sales of more than 5,000 more units from Haven holiday parks
