Challenge

Wahanda is a health, beauty and wellness website.  And they wanted an idea to increase their customer base, and raise awareness for their frankly fantastic beauty offers.  But they didn’t want any old Tam, Dixie or Harriet.  They wanted to attract warm, beauty-engaged fans who would be open to a dialogue with the brand.

Our approach

After lots of brainstorming and gallons of tea, we created Beauty Heaven – a viral member-get-member campaign that rewarded women with bigger and better beauty prizes based on how many friends they signed up.

With four levels of rewards ranging from a £5 Wahanda voucher all the way up to £2000 worth of beauty products from premium brands as the top prize, there was something in it for everyone, no matter how many friends you had!

Results

  • In just eight weeks, Beauty Heaven accumulated a whopping 43,000 new sign-ups for Wahanda
  • Seeded across dozens of high profile websites such as Marie Claire, In Style and My Daily, it was even featured on notable beauty blogs including Kiss and Makeup and London Beauty Queen.
